*my responses are in teal...*
1) How often do you guys wear a kilt? Usually daily.
2) (If you wear it daily) What profession allows this sort of dress? Freelance nature photographer and computer tech.
3) How does your significant other feel about it? single
4) How do you respond to people who question your motives for wearing the kilt? Sometimes don't respond, otherwise will say that it's part of my heritage - used to say for comfort, when I had a Utilikilt, even though a traditional is as comfortable, if not more so...
(I have a very good, very old friend (a girl) who just could not believe that I wear a kilt in public. She gave me a really hard time about it over dinner with other friends. I was really surprised at her reaction. None of my guy friends have reacted that way.)meh...
5) Do you think kilts are becoming more popular? Probably. Haven't seen much change locally, tho. I'm usually the only one kilted, other than the guys @ the Utilikilt shop in Seattle, or maybe someone @ a wedding, or at the highland games.
6) Do you really want them to be more popluar? Don't really care either way. It would be nice, so I wouldn't keep getting the "do you play the pipes?" question, but I don't care otherwise.

Well, it's amazing how many people want to come up and talk to you about your kilt. I wore it all day long this past Saturday (and Friday night, I couldn't help myself!), and the girls were very curious. I had a few guys ask where they could get one, but most of the guys clearly avoided me! So, I had most of the girls to myself. A bad thing? I think not.
