    I wish the Leatherneck would become offical
    it would look kick @$$ with Marines in a pipe and drum band
    who would mess with us in kilts anyway?

    Just for the record, there is a pipe band of Marine vets---but think "dress blues" kilt ... it's very striking:

    Perhaps if the Corps adopted the Leatherneck tartan, they'd use it, too.

    There are active-service USMC pipers, but I don't know whether they have any official organization.

    Hey, what great news. I got mine...a USA Kilts semi-trad in U.S. Army tartan.

    Have a West Point tartan shirt from L.L. Bean too....probably too much to wear the West Point tartan shirt with the U.S. Army tartan kilt....even to celebrate....
