DFW Kilt Night

My apologies that I was unable to make it out to Joe T's last night.

True story:
On the way over, my new car that I have had for all of two weeks, decided to act up. Could not tell how fast I was going, how much fuel I had, nor the temp. Fan/heater was also ka-put.

This all happened whilst being stuck in Christmas parade traffic. (note to self: CHRISTMAS parades are held in NOVEMBER.)

Did anyone else make it?

I think that I was the only one that made it. At least I was the only kilted person at Joe T. Garcia's...go figure. I hung out and had a few beers, took lots of pictures with people, explained that no I was not an extra during the filming of Braveheart and then I went home.

I thought some of the others WHO SAID THEY WERE GOING TO BE THERE AND REQUESTED FRIDAY, were going to be there.
