Hi String,
What brought you to kilting?
Scottishness, but I love the feel of a kilt. It's also fun to be a little different.
What are the reactions and feelings from your significant others and your families?
Any number of reactions across the board. I guess they are mostly alright about me wearing kilts. Some are sickened when I start talking about hose and
I love it.
What do you think makes you accepting of kilting, as it is certainly not the norm, nor does everyone accept it?
Really I'm partly wearing kilts to express something different from the norm in myself. I haven't come across anyone who can't handle seeing a guy in a
kilt. I will say that I have a few personal fashion problems with mixing black and brown, or bright colors that don't look good on me, but that's for
the way I dress myself. I'm sure other kilt wearers wouldn't do things like wear sandals with a kilt or have their hair in a ponytail like I do sometimes.
Guess it's all about feeling and looking comfortable with the way you're dressed.
