Poles in the RAF
Another option for someone of Polish heritage could be the RAF tartan, in honor of the RAF's 303 (Kosciuszko) Squadron, made up of Free Polish pilots who fought the Nazis during WWII:

Many Poles trained and were billited in Scotland during the war, and some remained afterwards due to the Communist occupation of Poland.
