I am so happy that you had a very positive experience at the Opera, but how could you all not looking as sharp as the three of you did.
Glad you had fun,
Sara

It is the perfect way to get around the matriarchal dictum, "Never run with scissors!" Besides, poor kiltmakers from rural areas can't afford all the fancy trappings, especially after springing for the kilt and the culture night at the opera.
Bartering (the unofficial currency of XMTS) is a wonderful thing, and I profusely thank Panache and his lovely wife, the Flame-Haired, Blood-Thirsty, Celtic Amazon Goddess, for the opportunity to trade some kiltmaking labor for a ticket to Verdi's "Scottish Opera." Shakespeare's tale of power lust, murder, and their consequences was exquisitely portrayed through the staging symbols, the talented acting, and the vocal and orchestral music.

In reflecting on the experience, one bifurcated question pressed to the fore: Are all Celtic goddesses blood-thirsty? or, Did the F-H.C.A.G. lose her descriptor to (or pick up the torch from) the Lady MacBeth?

That explains the scissors, I find that very unique and quite appropriate!

Then in that case a fun kilt pin for him would be a large sewing needle.

Looking good, gentlefolk. Bravo, bravo!
The last time I went to the opera in San Francisco the trunk (or boot, if you prefer) of my car got broken into. Now there's a tragedy for you.
Best regards,
Jake

Perhaps after the next Opera (the upcoming "Das Rheingold" perhaps?) we can meet up with the San Freancisco kilties for dinner afterwards? walkerk's descriptions of Eddie Rickenbackers make it sound like a swell place to meet.
Cheers

Wonderful photos Jamie, it has been far to long since I was at an opera, something which I really must remedy. You all look fantastic, I am so glad you all enjoyed yourselves, I have always found the opera to be a grand night out, and I think you are right it is something you should try at least once in your life. It is also heartening to see that the beard is growing back, at least Xena will be happy that the strange hairless face has disappeared. Again thanks for the photos.

Don't worry! I haven't lost my descriptor. Where would most of the world's powerful ones be without their Lady MacBeths?
Has anyone considered that Hank may have outlived his usefulness? I must go and whisper in my dear husband's ear....
Be well,
