    I find it hard to believe that there is such a vast demand for bagpipes that it is single-handedly wiping out forests full of African Blackwood. I would be willing to bet that bagpipes account for less than 5% of the usage of those trees.

    Yeah, I'd be willing to bet that clarinets do far more damage than bagpipes.
