I'll go along with the charcoal and red flashes.

Ditto on what they both said. I'd most likely wear the charcoal.

What time of day is the wedding? If it is in evening, argyle or diced hose in the color of the kilt would be appropriate.

The wedding is at 4pm but I don't think I'll have time for argyle or diced to reach me in time as I would have to order.

I don't agree at all. I have never heard anyone authoritatively say that hose should match jacket or shirt. In fact, IME most attempt to match the hose with the predominant color of the kilt.

As to diced hose, you can get them here http://www.jhiggins.net/catalog/hose_diced.html in time for the wedding and in red and green, though they might not last much longer than the wedding day.
