Oh, yes! At Zappo's you can search dress shoes for 6.5 EE --- I got 21 hits, several of which look suitable for evening wear. For instance a couple of models by Bostonian (leather sole), and a couple by Rockport if his feet would prefer a good supportive synthetic.
