    Have fun, merry Christmas.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

    Two words: kilt pin.

Sorry to have to tell you, but Hamish took me to task a few years ago for not having one. Better you should hear it from me.

I agree with the guy who said the hem should be higher. I'll add that the sporran looks a little high, and could come down a couple inches. And what's that odd thing hanging on the sporran? It looks like a spare chain.

    Quite sharp. Well done.

That's one of those pin lock sporrans. I've seen several others with them. Very neat design.

Thanx for all the good advices. I know, the kilt is a wee too long and I'll have it shortend in a few days.
Of course, I have kilt pins and I wear them too, I only forgot to put it on for the pics.

Maybe I try to wear the sporran a bit lower. On that night I also though while wearing it, that it might be a bit lower. I worked a little bit on my sporran and I think, the chain and the sword pin-lock is an improvement to the ordinary press-lock button which was before.

Thanx again for the advice and have a nice christmas.

HOLD HARD A WEE WHILE!!!!Before you send your kilt for surgery are you sure that you are wearing your kilt far enough above your belly button?I am not sure what style of kilt you have, traditional, non traditional etc.,but before you do anything too drastic, try moving the whole kilt higher. Are you aware that a lot of kilts are worn higher up the waist than trousers are?Just a thought.Happy Christmas.

You look great, try pulling your kilt up higher on your waist, at belly button height or above, I think that will solve the issue with the length. If you try to hem it, the pleats may not hang correctly.

Remember, no kilt surgery unless it is absolutely necessary!

    Merry Christmas!
