Just got back from a cruise!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Just got back today (12/24) from a 5 day cruise to Cozumel on the Carnival Ecstasy. Really great experience! I'll put some stuff in the photos section later, but here is our official tourism photo;

We sure did! I'll post some more photo's later, we're still getting organized around the house now. Here's the one time I was not kilted, a little ride to see some Mayan ruins and a bit of the island, great fun! For those of you in Northern climes, I must point out that this was last Saturday, 12/22, and it was sunny and about 85 Degrees F. in Cozumel

Nice picture. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't try horseback riding kilted. Those would have been interesting pictures for sure!

Actually, I got that medal on the ship. They have a lot of activities and contests etc. to keep 2600 passengers busy all day, that medal is for coming in first place in a trivia contest! My wife thought it was so funny I actually got an award for being full of useless information, that I wore it proudly on formal night! They had a couple of trivia or 'name that tune' type contests every day, and I made it to most of them, eventually earning 3 medals, 2 of what the cruise directors called "plastic pieces of ship on a stick" trophies, and the title 'Trivia kilt guy'

That first picture looks good. It's nice that your daughter wanted to have her picture made with dad on a cruise.

What? That's your wife? You cradle robber you.

OK, on a slightly more serious note, that is a great picture.

I've never been on a cruise but with all the people on here talking about them lately, I may have to check into it. Anybody know any good cruises for single guys? ;)
