My first traditional kilt was a 13oz MacDuff (Ancient) for my Father's surname Hume (the Humes are a sept of the clan MacDuff). I chose this one because I really wanted a red tartan and I love the flame shade of the ancient colours. I followed this up a couple of years later with 9 yard 16oz Lochcarron Strome in Modern Hume (now that's a tank!).
The Kilt is my delight !
