Nice job! Did you sew down the pleats? I kind of looks like you did. As you wash that kilt the material will soften up and hang even better.

I have sewn down the other portion of the pleats, but I am pretty sure I'll be sewing down the inner portions as some point in time--the thing turn out pretty ragged from the wash, and my lack of sweeping properly at times.
