Excuse me sir but is that a black strap there with all that brown leather you're wearing..

It does appear very dark but it is Chestnut (an eeeeeaaaarrrrly leather I was using ). The leather that strap was made of has a pebbled texture to it that probably darkens the appearance with shadows.
