I screwed myself. I thought the get together was tonight (Friday) and sceduled a get together with a couple friends tomorrow night. Hopefully I can convince them to go. Not that it will be hard... so with any luck, I'll bringing along two more people- one lady is very kilt friendly and her kilt friendly (although not yet kilted) husband.

All the guys I invited (one Kilted the other soon to be) backed out. One had a family emergency and the other one is very ill.

I have had a family emergency, and I may or may not be able to make it tonight, just to let you guys know, but you just never know.

Sorry I didn't make it, guys. I had a meeting with a good friend/business associate of mine who is going under the knife this week. We had some work that needed to get done before the end of the night, and it took a lot longer than I expected. I hope you all had a good time, and I'll for sure catch you next time around.

sorry to hear that you two had problems come up. Glen, I hope it wasn't too much of an emergency.
One of the couples from work was able to make it, Carrie and Woody. Joyce and I had a very good time with them last night. Woody was interested in learning more about kilts and Carrie will probably be getting a kilted skirt at about the same time. The only down side of the evening was that they have closed their dining room. If we had managed to have a large crowd, the manager was going to set up a table for us in the dining room where we would have less noise and a little more privacy. As busy as they were, that would have been a good thing. Most of the tables were occupied while we were there. We didn't take many pictures so I'll post the group shot here.
From left to right there is me, my wife Joyce, Carrie and Woody. Obviously, they are a little on the fun side.
