I love Paddy Rock. Dropkick Murphy, Flogging Molly, Neck, Bloody Irish Boys, Blood Or Whiskey, Tossers, Mighty Regis, The Skels, The Mahones, etc. Going to their shows in a kilt, t-shirt, and leather jacket gets great reactions.

Stumbled onto a poster addressing this topic yesterday. Wish it showed more of the kilt, but it conveys the idea I think.
Okay...the site won't let me show you the poster so you gotta go to

Pic is by Christian Kober.

And, I REALLY like the way the kilt pin is worn at an angle, instead of vertical in the pics above. What a great idea. Swords are worn at such an angle, I think the kilt pin looks much better at the angle. Never thought of it before. Thanks for passing that on.
Okay, maybe I figured out how to beat the system.

I decided, having been inspired by this thread, to wear my Iron Maiden- Killers album cover hockey jersey with my Nighstalker kilt. It got some interesting attention- from cop who thought it looked killer! (No pun intended!)

I have one black Iron Maiden shirt and one camo Exodus shirt. Guess I would wear them with a BK canvas...

I'm a 40y.o. who has gone through a series of 'looks' (Punk, rockabilly, psychobilly etc.) since my teens. Most of the time my kilt is teamed with a plain white or black tee, black docs and leather jacket or black bomber jacket.
I sometimes wear a Clash tee, or maybe even a Jackass tee or a Wallabies (Aust. Rugby Union) top.
I bought a pair of 11-hole combat boots recently, and have started wearing them with black hose, black flashes and "Officer" sgian dubh: the point of the sgian dubh sits just at the top of the boot, so it's really comfortable and I reckon it looks great.
Regards,
Troy

I sometime wear with high top chucks (black with red stitching) and my Metallica wardrobe and some Tyr shirts. but I will wear a kilt with everything.
I think the coolest thing that goes well with my new utilikilt is my ESP Explorer electric guitar.
