The thing stopping me is the suit and tie that I must wear to work each day. And, for casual Friday the kilt was declined. I have worn the kilt to work for two occasions, both of which involved my piping. They didn't pay me even a nickle so it's curses for them from the Heavens. Not my call, mind.

Days in January that I have not worn a kilt = 0
I only wear trousers at work as required by the safety code. When I am not at work I am kilted. In fact my coworkers have oft seen me arrive kilted, slide on a pair of 501's, then unwrap the kilt and start working. The end of the day the kilt gets wrapped on and the jeans drop before I head to wherever I am going after work.
This in Boston, Massachusetts in the Winter.
