Here's the closest shot I have of the Lochcarron 16 oz strome in Isle of Skye, if it helps for comparison.

Eeeeek! Larry, those colours are a bit frightening, and not too close to the Isle of Skye tartan we are accustomed to (ie: Ron's kilt in his post above).

Difference seems to be mainly in the three colors that parallel the thin light gray lines. The purple and brown in the center of the sett seem about the same.
Hard for my eyes, but it also seems the difference in the colors paralleling the thin grey lines results in some differences in the pattern adjacent to where the thin gray lines intersect.
