I'm actually Cajun "by the ring and by the back door", Dean. My wife is Cajun (Melancon). Her family is originally from the German Coast, although her mother's mother was a Creole from NOLA.

My brother can claim himself Cajun the same way. He married an Arceneaux from Eunice. I love the Cajun culture (cuisine, music, etc...). Of course, there's a celtic connection as I understand the cajuns are originally from Britanny via Acadia.
