You know you had a REALLY good time the previous night when the first thing you see the next morning is PINK! This private residence is built on the San Lorenzo River in Ben Lomond, California, right across from the motel where I stayed.
The next thing was GREEN! Still wet from the stormy night that accompanied and followed the Burns Supper.
Then the sunshine smile appears! - and Jeannie and I head off to breakfast with Panache and the Flame-Haired, Blood-Thirsty, Celtic Amazon Goddess.
Jeannie survived (even thrived!) at the XMarks Nor-Cal Rabble Burns Supper. She and they will undoubtedly meet again - at Highland Games and elsewhere. Other guests of mine were also put at ease by the welcoming inclusion of this fun-loving rabble.
Thank you to Jamie (chairman), Madalyn (cook), Alan (musician), and all others involved with putting on such a splendid affair, and allowing me to participate with something I could do.
