Yes, the shirts look pretty good. The model looks sorta like Panache after a few months on meth.

I still intend to keep the crew neck, but I'd like to get a V-neck version so that I can wear a collared shirt and tie under it. Well, I'm not having any luck finding one anywhere. The only V-neck commando sweater I can find on the 'net are police sweaters, but I don't want the badge patch. Can anyone help?
I'm looking for the same thing, so I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread...I've seen the Gurka's from Nepal wearing them (Dark Blue) while in Iraq and they look great...I think they're employed by Kroll Security, who is responsible for their uniform issue.

I will try and ask barring the language barriere.

Well, I found exactly what I want for a Commando (wooly pully) sweater in black with V-neck. I'm okay with the acrylic knit, but the price makes me want to shop around a little more before I commit to this vendor. Make your own judgment. It's from Aviation World:

BTW, it was James MacMillan's search engine advice that did the trick. I found more of the subject sweater under "wooly pully" than I did "Commando".

I couldn't wait or look anymore; so, I ordered the black, V-neck wooly pully from Aviation World. I'll report back when it arrives and give an appraisal.

The sweater arrived today! It fits perfectly in the shoulders, but it is a bit long. I may have to tuck it in. Otherwise, it's just right - black, V-neck, with elbow and shoulder patches, and epaulets, too.

Now, Summer Donna Nervous Jock. That one you display looks good. My Army Surplus looks like that one, but without the "proper" patch.
