    Hey Arlan,

The clan crest with the boat is gonna be my next tattoo. Been waiting for the book Clan Donald rewrite to be published for the main reason of being able to take the dust cover to the tattoo artist to draw from.

Not being of Christian beliefs its just asking too much for me to get a tattoo of the cross in the mailed fist clan emblem. But art for the ship emblem is difficult to find in enough detail for an artist to work from.

No clue why the publication date for the book keeps getting pushed back. Been over a year now.

    Anyhow, great tat!

A Scottish flag (St. Andrew's cross) with a thistle wrapped around/climbing up the flag's pole would be pretty cool!

I'm a Heathen myself. (Pagan doesn't quite cover my spiritual and religious beliefs.) But I find the cross to be an old, old Heathen symbol as well as Christian, so it doesn't bother me too much.

I have a couple of detailed and large copies of the image I can email to you if you want?
