    Reminds me of when I was a kid and spent a week in Victoria B.C. (Canada) with a family transplanted from the U.K.
    Every morning I had similar for breakfast, well, minus the haggis & beans

    Man, you guys are making me hungry! The salmon and scrambled idea sounds good too, but prefer mountain trout and over-easy eggs with diced fried potatoes, maybe some tomato, and a small hunk of cheese and toast .

    Obviously, we don't call it "Canadian" bacon up here! Canadian bacon is the term Americans and other non-Canadians use to refer to back bacon as opposed to "streaky" bacon.
