I saw him, too! They showed him a few times during the show, but the first time especially showed the kilt.

To be honest, I still can't discern one kind of a jacket from another (or at least put a name to them), and it went by so fast on the screen that all my brain was able to register was "kilt" and "formal," but in my mind's eye, I sort of recall seeing not a doublet, but an open jacket with flaps at the hips. I could be totally wrong about that. The gentleman was seated and my TV reception is not so good, so I didn't get the full picture here. If it is rebroadcast tonight, I'll try to get a closer look.

    Regards,
    Rex.

    Kilted at the Ball

I saw the same show. Great Dancing! The gentleman in his
formal kilt was also wearing a sash from the right shoulder
down to his left hip. Couldn't see much, coat was buttoned
closed. I did see a green-ish hue to the coat. The camera
panned by to quickly. BTW, I saw this show at 5 AM this
morning on PBS. I'm now just getting around to the forums.
No energy. Just getting over that blasted stomach virus/flu
bug--wretched thing! Not the best way, but I've lost 8 lbs
in 3 days. I wouldn't wish this 'thing' on my worst enemy!
    KEEP WELL EVERYONE!
