Furr sporran = full-dress sporran ?

If it were me, I'd sell some else's kidney and by a sealskin sporran with a silver (not silver plated) cantle and view it as an investment. The $160 sporran I bought in 1970 would now cost over a grand to replace.

I'm with you. I have one with a silver (not silver plated) cantle and mink. I don't want to know what it would cost to replace it. I know some are big fans of the full mask sporrans, and while I don't dislike them, I much prefer the silver cantle and fur look for formal wear. I think the full mask looks better for less dressy occasions.
