What's WAY better than being a RA (aside from the extra spending money RA's get) is to be the FRIEND of the RA. I got away with all sorts of stuff in college with my RA friend. For example, "borrowing" a gallon of liquid nitrogen from the engineering department one night and dumping it off the 6th floor balcony all at once onto the (empty) quad below....wildest thing you ever saw and a very bizarre noise when it struck the cement. Also it formed a perfectly cylindrical cloud which slowly sank to the ground.
Or, for example, rappelling very rapidly off the RA's 6th floor balcony, past the 4th floor RA's apartment...giving her a minor heart attack (hehehe). Now, he did get shouted at a wee bit by the 4th floor RA later, but no one got in any trouble.
Ahhh....the college life. Good times, good times.
That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history.
