A fine looking outfit, Ron, the black shirt and hose and black shoes go well with the MacDonald kilt. My own claim to MacDonald ancestry is rather tenuous. I had a great great grandfather William McLeod (1815-1875) whose death certificate names his parents as having been Daniel McLeod and Mary McDonald, but there are few if any written records of the Paisley weaver families prior to 1841, so I have not yet been able to verify the accuracy of the information in this death certificate (quite often the names given were wrong as the informant did not know the names of the deceased's parents). Old parish records show a William McLeod, son of John McLeod and Catherine McDonald born and baptised in Paisley in June 1815 but I cannot be certain this is the same William McLeod, and thereby confirm the McDonald link.
