After much searching in my local supermarket, I was able to find a jar. I've been enjoying toast with butter, Marmite, and English cheddar. I have yet to try it with cottage cheese. Anyone have recommendations for a must try?

I haven't found a jar of marmite yet, and it's been a long time, so I wouldn't be able to suggest anything more... Perhaps one of these days...
That is, however, how i cook my london broils. The K salt floats much better on the surface of the meat and can even help form a carmalized crust. I could tell you more if I had a taste of marmite to think about the other flavors that would be complimentary.
I am very glad that it worked well! and hope to try it some day.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

OK - I found some
OK - I found some. Now tell me how to use this weird looking strange tasting stuff.
Like jelly? Worchestershire sauce? Cheese?
How do I eat it? On toast? Crumpets? Bagels?
Inform me please.

I would put it on a soda cracker, then think about what other flavors would be good with it. It's bothering me that I can't remember exactly what it tastes like. It would go with the saltier foods...
I know! get yourself some of those large soft pretzles and use it as a dip. I seem to remember a slight bitterness to it. If so, then that would compliment the slight sweetness of the breads and carbs... Or just get a spoon and eat it in the RAW.
