You're right, the world needs more lerts and less loofs!
I'd have liked to have made this one myself, but I've unfortunately already got plans. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the next family-friendly smoke-free NC offering though. Have a good one

If this meet goes down well, we could always make it a monthly thing, or whatever. I'll keep an eye out for more such places, and I'll be sure to keep everyone posted.
Hope you can make it down for the Mint Hill and Loch Norman Games!

I'm thinking of going to Mint Hill. Will people be gathering at that event?

If there isn't a planned meet, you will find me at the Lumsden tent. I rarely get the time to wander off for meets, as there are only two of us representing the clan, and there is a chance I will be working solo at Mint Hill this year.

I hope that this kilt night goes relatively smoothly and we can make this a monthly event.
I plan on going to the Mint Hill Games, so I'll wander over and see ya MacMoose.

It's a full service Irish pub, full menu. Good pub food, actually. Music is provided by a bunch of talented local musicians (it's a toss up who will be there) but the main fellow is very talented, and funny. It's tradfitional Celtic music, predominately Irish.
There will also be sports on the big screen tvs. Usually college basketball at this time of the year.

Nick, I hope you can make it to the gathering, if not don't worry, I'm gonna try to make this a monthly event, at different locations, under 21 friendly of course.
MacMoose when does the Mint Hill Games start?

Mint Hill...the Games themselves are a one day event, held this year on March 29th.
However, the night before is the Calling of the Clans ceremony, and the concert; this year it is Rathkeltair (a great band!), featuring Neil Anderson, formerly of 7 Nations)
As for Sunday's Kilt Night...I had a word with my friends at Ri Ra, and they suggested we book a reservation, to ensure a good seat, close, but not right next to the stage (so we can hear ourselves think...keeping in mind it is Celtic folk music, not Motorhead playing!)
The table is held under my name, Waterhouse, for 6 pm. The music starts at 7pm, but I figured I would go down early for a bite, so please feel free to join me. I hope I am not stepping on anyones toes by doing this!
