Ok, in disregard to original thread matter, but it's steel interesting discussion. Anyways, my personal opinion that for this moment at least kilts are s not a national madness in general and U don't see people lining up in the kilt store to buy one. Plus there's no tendency in this direction at least for the next 5 years or so, otherwise We're able to see kilt sections in the network (stores like The Bay) by the X-mas and there are non. So for as now kilts are for the bunch of enthusiasts, special occasions and tourists. So opening retail store outside tourist's routs bad idea, I'm not saying it'll not work out, don't get me wrong, but.....
As a customer I'd love to have such place with multiple tag lines in my location, to have chance to try it on and then pay for it, not visa versa. And there's more - best fitted and looking kilt is the one, custom made, by someone who knows.
