Very nice indeed,....and i'm sure you were delighted to recieve them.
I must say, i am a sucker for miniatures, and especially Scottish and Irish military miniatures.
They will make a great desk ornament.

According to the paper work that was with them they are (from Left to Right)

Black Watch, Gordon Highlanders, Scots Guard.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

    Hey, there, Sara...
Even though they've told us to the contrary, I think we should still at least pretend that he is a MacArthur! I mean, with the amazing piping connection and such, everyone needs to have a little MacArthur guy!

Hi Splash, I would suggest that the figure on the left in the Scots Guards, and the one on the right is Black Watch.
You can tell a lot from the sporran, and the bonnet hackle.
The Black Watch have a white sporran with five black tassles, with red hackle,............. and the Scots Guards have a white sporran with three tassles, and a half blue half red hackle.
So the painter is pretty spot on.
Are they London Bridge toys by any chance?...by Brittains?

This kinda thing is right up my street.
