Yes! I'll actually be attending the games this year. For the last two years I've tried to make lodging reservations too late to find any vacancy within 50 miles of the games. I wisened up this time and just reserved a room at the Woodstock Inn. For anyone thinking of attending the Loon Mountain games this coming September I highly suggest making your reservations soon.

Those are adorable. I wish I had pics of my son pretending he was competing in the stone put but my camera died.
I have been looking at reservations too but I'm not sure whether I want to camp or get a hotel. I had a great time last year camping but it was just luck that the weather was good that late in the season. Slopeside would be nice but $500/night isn't quite in my budget at the moment . Maybe after the Eagle spits on me in May I'll see what I can get.
There are 10 kinds of people in the world...
Those that understand binary, and those that don't.
We have had good luck and bad luck camping in the past. As you say you may have been lucky last year. It can turn cold and wet real fast!
We found a place through cyber rentals and are staying Thurs-Sun. We have a good sized group and the condo was the best way to go. We are right across the street.
Also check out http://www.loonres.com/, you could find a condo for 3 nights for less than $500.
