I'm sorry, Panache, I was thinking of what I would prefer to wear on me. As Chef said, there is nothing wrong with the kilt suits. It's a personal thing for me in the way I dress.

I'm not a fan of kilt suits, either. Not that I would have an issue with anyone wearing one, it's just not for me.
Now, a tweed kilt, that'd be different. And of course a tweed jacket, as well. Just not at the same time as the kilt.
I guess I"m showing my conservatie leanings...

I've been thinking about this a bit lately. And I want to apologise to Chef for agreeing with him again.
I think I would not like a tweed jacket and tweed pants either, or even a monochromatic jacket and pants combination. I like for the jacket opposed to the pants to be a different shade of brown, for example. The exception to that is an all black suit, but I would not like a black shirt with that. I like for the pants to tend to be a darker color than the jacket, but that doesn't seem to matter to me with a kilt... Don't know why.
Going back to the all tweed kilt suit, my mind can't handle just tweed. I think I would like a solid black jacket and kilt though with the white or differently colored shirt of course. I know for sure that I couldn't take a tweed tie, tweed suit, and tweed kilt that are all matching.
