How fun!
Now wouldn't it be grand to see kilts in the 2010 Winter Olympics?

Wow! Now that IS cool! And I thought dragon boating in a kilt looked good...these folks really know how to put on a show. Hope they got a medal.

Thank you Rex for posting the link to YouTube. Like you, I was unable to view Mark's video link.
I have been following the progress of the Kerr brother and sister skating duo for a year or two, mainly because they are the best that the United Kingdom has had since Torvill and Dean, but also they are increasingly talented. They now stand at 8th in the World Championships, but I think they deserve better. Fortunately they are still very young and have time to improve tremendously.
At the end of the clip I was almost in tears, their skating was so inventive and beautiful, and their choice of music was enough to 'get me going'!! It was a very emotional perfomance.
Take care,
Ham.

From the Toronto Star, on the 2008 Worlds:
Friskiest costume was revealed by John Kerr, the boy side of the brother-sister ice-dancing tandem from Britain. He donned a kilt for their Scottish original dance program and, given the free-swinging movements, showed what a Scotsman wears under one of those things: Bicycle shorts. At the end of the routine, he also flashed for the audience.
"As the kilt is the national Scottish dress and they wanted to see national dresses this year, luckily for us they cannot give us a deduction."
Regards,
Rex.
