    You guys have me all craving a pare... or two of gray kilt hose. Right now I just have a couple of grey knee-highs for casual dress. But then I would end up having to get a bunch of other stuff.
    I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

    Ted, if your craving grey hose you might also wish to look into the Piper Hose offered by Scottish Lion for $22:

    They have a dark grey (Charcoal) & a lighter grey (Stone). These are 70% wool 30% Nylon & very nice. I just received my Bottle Green pair on Friday last, and plan to order 2 or 3 more pair with my next pay check (in varied colors).

    I have a pair of the charcoal, and they are a very nice hose.
