I wish!!! Apart from a couple of kilt checks and compliments, I can't say that I've had any memorable experiences with the ladies...I think that the confidence associated with wearing a kilt, may be part of the attraction, but again, I'm always hoping.

“I’m sorry. Really! I didn’t know that she was your (girlfriend/daughter/sister/wife/mother)!”
:crap: Would someone please hold my cap, jacket and eyeglasses…?

So true. They come out of the woodwork when you walk down the street in one.

Can you imagine walking up to a woman and saying" So, what do have under there? then lifting her skirt. You'd be jailed. or slapped. one of the girls I work with pulled mine up the other day. My wife told me I had to wear underware to work because she new what would happen.

That's great! I admit I was surprised when I was sitting at the bar on St. Pat's wearing my new SWK Thrifty Irish National to feel a hand on my knee. I turned and found a very attractive young lady of about 22 there who said in a low, sultry voice - "I REALLY like your kilt." (I'm 55 and fat so that doesn't happen every day). It's the kilt!

Nice to see old threads resurrected.
I'm another of those middle aged guys that couldn't get the time of day in a clock store, but I get all kinds of attention in the kilt.
This last St. Pats I was at my favorite pub and got several kilt checks. One woman did it right in front of her hubby (Who thankfully was cool with it, 'cause he's friggin huge) then did it again later to show another girl how to do it.
I had another gorgeous young girl (early college age I'd guess) walk by while I was standing around talking. She just bent all the way over so her head was nearly on the floor and looked up. Then smiled and walked away.
I love kilts.

I haven't been kilt checked yet, or had any situations like some of the others. I have had a couple of compliments, but no touching. Maybe one day
