Aye Doc, I were...fanatical type...minimum 16 miles a day. 100 mile rides in the summer Sonoran Desert heat. Had a big water bottle on my handle bars, two big water bottles on the down tube, another on the seat tube, and THREE military canteens on a web belt around my waist. Guess that's why I were thin back then.
Hmmm...kilted rendezvous in Havasupai seems to be falling flat. Probably best. The fewer tourists there are the better down there, but its most always packed anyway. Once you go you just can't not go back.

Wow! I wish my troop had done stuff like that.
When I get around to learning the stuff my dad wants me to and I start working for him ($30/hr!), I'm planning to get a UK Survival to wear on outings.

Good for you Ron. I still manage to do about 80 mi. a week in the winter and about 180 mi. a week in the nicer times.

Great pics! Love to take the family there.
Alpha Kilts are standard box pleat, but knife pleating is available. They are very close to the Xkilt from what I can see.

Finn, actually Alpha's orginal line is Knife pleated, they have just introduced the Box after a trial period. I have both a Glascow black box prototype and the olive in the pictures is the flagship model the Edinburgh with knife pleats. I'm sorry I couldn't get a good pleat shot for you all. I love the weight and comfort of these Kilts, the price is great compared to other in its class.

I apologize.
When Daron referred me to pics of the kilts they were all box pleated, with knife pleating mentioned. This was about a week ago, while the site was down.
I stand corrected. Thank you.

Finn, no problem, I still don't know which I like better. I'll wait and see what the ladies like and report to the rabble.
