Tartan Cupcakes??
So, my wife and I are Martha Stewart fans. She is having a "decorative cupcake contest" this week (it's Martha!!) and with Tartan Day on Sunday, my wife decided to make Tartan icing cupcakes. We experimented with different materials, esp. fondant which is rolled out icing that can be manipulated. Well, last night we posted the photos of some of the cupcakes she made.....she did extremely well in replicating some clan tartans. It can be difficult to find these among all the other photos ....when we posted last night there were over 1000 cupcake photos entered in the contest. Of course, in the caption under each photo (2) she mentions Tartan Day!! If you go to marthastewart.com and find the site for the cupcake contest, then get into the section to "view photos".....you have to go through maybe 100 or more (they put new photos at the beginning instead of at the end, so our photos keep moving up in line) until you come to ours. Hope you find then. Yep, even tartans on cupcakes!! Malcolm

They look much more delicious than normal tartan. And none of those pesky wool fibers to dig out of your teeth.

Now, now, you know that fiber is an important part of your diet.

that's a great Idea. I'm going to have to tell my lady about that. She loves Martha Stewart too. The cupcakes look great too.

What a great idea and an even better execution!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
