Nick,
As an FYI, kiltmakers in the "lower end" of the price range use lots of different materials, some of which are better than others...
MM PV
PV (from elsewhere)
Cotton
Cotton Poly
Acrylic
Wool Blends
Etc.
None of these are the quality of a 13 or 16 oz worsted wool to make a kilt from, but some come much closer than others. If you want a further comparison, check out the comparison chart above (link in my last post).
