The day in the summer of 2006 when Matt Newsome measured me for my Kilt, he was wearing sandals and a t-shirt with his kilt. I think it was early July and about 90-95 degrees that day. I think the 21st century will bring about all new acceptable ways to wear a kilt so that a kilt can be worn on a daily basis.

Hmmmm! Matt Newsome was wearing sandals with a kilt...

I don't feel like an earthworm anymore! Na, I have pictures up in the gallery of me wearing sandals with a kilt. I tend to wear them with my canvas kilt and not the tartan kilts. I like the slides or the nicer leather sandals.

Oh, and it's usually 115 to 120 degrees and some what humid around that time of the year out here.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

In the summer (which out here lasts from May to November), I usually wear flip-flops, an aloha shirt, and my SportKilt, along with my big coconut tree leaf hat from Hawai'i.

No hard and fast rules, however, I have found the following site which may be of interest in so much it provides a take on the formal hose we all wear. You might like to take a look!
