Buzz kidder sporrans are awesome in their price point but AFAIK none of their models have separate compartments.

Check out Donnie Hailey's site, I have two of his sporrans; they hold so much stuff, soft supple leather and are very reasonably priced.

Yes, do check out Buzz, his sporrans are nicely made as well, a bit small if you like to carry large amounts of things around, but very well made and nice to look at.

True, I don't think any have compartments, but for a basic soft sporran, they are great. I wear their Country Sporran more than any other I own.

Cant fault Freelander Sporrans in Norway, make the best day sporrans I have come across and they have a capacity to hold so much. Checkout their web-site, the extra cost will be money well spent.

The only two sporrans that I own right now (while i'm jonsing for a nice beaver fur Ferguson Britt /swoon) are buzz kidder sporrans and they're very well constructed and good quality for their price. I own one of their rob roy sporrans and one of their inverness sporrans. The only issue with the inverness is if you're carrying something heavy in your sporran (decent sized camera for example) it tends to pull open when you walk if you dont add some sort of stop to the draw string.

In terms of value you aren't going to do better than Buzz Kidder. Their sporrans are well made, of thick yet supple leather, and they are all priced between $55-$65.

Besides turpin and Donnie, A_Hay and Joe Gondek also make handmade custom sporrans. I have a very nice one from A_Hay.

But hands down my favorite sporran is my Freelander.

I contacted Donnie at www.wyvernleatherworks and asked him to do a trinity knot for me. He hand tooled it on the lid for me. He has a picture of it on his website. Black sporran with a natural leather trinity knot. His sporrans are made very roomy and strong, yet very soft. I jonseing for another one now!
