All of the above, when in doubt I usually fall back on oatmeal or lovat green....although I'm with Kevin on the green in this case...perhaps a lovat blue might go better.

Or be daring and try a nice rusty red.

What Price Glory also sells a khaki hose that goes nicely.

Excellent choice on tartans! I really enjoy mine.

I wore black with mine to the Burns Dinner. Black hose and shoes, black belt and Tie and a black/great tweed jacket. I thought it looked quite nice.


My Wife says green would work with the tartan as well so I'm bringing in some bottle green pipers hose to try with it. I need them anyway for my Saffron and Fraser Hunting kilts so at least I know they will get some wear

Well, I am bad with colors and coordination, I hate to admit. The kilt looks like it will be nice. I would go with khaki or oatmeal. (they will match the sporran nicely .
