Curse EVILBAY-more Cunningham tartan

I just popped for blackwatch from the same ebayer. The tartan is good, prices are good, shipping is steep but fair.

Several tartans left. seller

BTW I have no connection with the seller other than I keep sending money.

I just bought a kilt length of Ancient McKenzie - it's 10 oz weight, so it's not for JC - it's MINE!!!

Now my decision is - Do I want a bias cut skirt or a pleated one?

Next year's Tartan Day, I won't be the only XMarkser not in a tartan!

I think taking it to your Grandmother would be an excellent idea, seeing the wonderful kilt she made you before. Perhaps you could hint about a Graduation gift?

Me, I think it's time you learned how to make yourself a kilt!! Cunningham is one of the very easiest tartans to pleat, and 7 yards of 13 oz is plenty for a kilt for someone your size. Go for it!!

Be sure to click "see all items" - this seller has a tremendous number of tartans, lots of them 16 oz.

I've ordered several times from this seller, and I just bought a piece of Ancient Taylor from him. If anyone is interested in a kilt in it, let me know. I don't have any immediate plans for it - I'm just a tartan junkie, and I love this tartan. Price was good - less than $200 delivered.

There's also a 13 oz. 8 yard piece of NYC tartan....

My heart fluttered at the sight of the dress Barclay piece.... I'm SO glad it's 10 oz., now I don't HAVE to buy it. haha

Thank the lord its not my size or I could drop another few hundred. . . . . . I cant afford that as a poor college kid.

Barb, I would love to make a kilt. . . I think. . . I wouldnt try on that tartan until I get MUCH more experience though. I know nearly nothing about sewing and I dont want to ruin such nice material if I fail. Also, I dont have the time. I have 4 sporrans to crank out before the end of May, and I have only started on one. I have to re-do a bunch of stitches in that one though because the perfectionist in me wont let me settle for less.
