Oh it is Nick. I used to wear commercial Black Watch Kilts but after having to replace 4 in my lifetime, it gets quite expensive...lol. The MARPAT Kilt is a heavy cotton Duck and has certainly withstood some abuse.

And...we all know our legs/knees are more maneuverable in a Kilt. I can go to, and hold, a squat for about 20 minutes waiting for an opponent to get impatient and advance into a shoot lane for me.

LOL...If I could get away with it (meaning, weapons on the field are not permitted) I'd carry a GreatSword on my back just for the poops-and-giggles of doing it....lol

Nick, I think I'd scare off my OWN team with the greatsword...lol!

cloves...no problem. Hopefully I'll be getting my tooling hides and mannequin soon so I can start working on the chest armor and helm.

I'm thinking zoomorphic embossing on the helm quadrants and knotwork on the cheek plates...and the armor will have a Celtic Dragon embossed on the 'wings', a Celtic Cross on the chest and Triquetra at either the groin plate or my remote tank holder. The groin plate doesn't actually go that low but I don't know what else to call the lower abdominal area between the naval and groin...lol.

um...no....LOL! It's just the front plate of the armor extends down a few incles lower than the back plate does.

    ...and I don't need a cup...that's what a Sporran's for.....LOL!
