    Re-sizing --- Doesn't Look Good For Me

The news about re-sizing the kilt I recently received is not good. Thanks very much to Chattancat, who lives within about 20 miles of me, I at least know and understand the situation.

For those who wanted to know, it turns out that I need to add about 5 inches. Little did I know that you don't wear a kilt at your waist! My waist is 35" but I need nearly 38 inches since it is not worn at my waist. My kilt must be about 33"-34" (I am not certain on exactly how to measure it). It is clear that, as several of you suggested, selling my kilt and buying another one that fits me or trading my kilt is the only way to go.

The kilt is of high quality according to Chattancat. I have looked it up and am nearly certain it is a Forbes Ancient tartan. It has a buckle at the waist and 2 buckles on the right side. So, I am going to sell it or trade after taking several pictures and either finding a a site to list it on or finding a site to offer a trade. Xmarksthescot may allow trades, etc. - I haven't had time to learn that much yet.

Again, thanks very much to all. Now that I've found you, I will be around - even without a kilt that fits me!

Xmarks has separate trade and sales forums for individual members to sell their kilts and accessories (as long as they aren't doing it as a business.)

    Bes regards,
