I got the Jones

There are two kilt lengths of Ancient MacKenzie headed my direction. One in 10 oz for my skirt and one in 16 oz for JC.

I totally get it now. They can't be here for weeks yet, and I'm already checking the post!

The last time I stalked my mail carrier like this was when JC was in boot camp!

Well, I am jonesing for the leather to come in for the sporran that you are jonesing for. . . . it makes sense in my head. I still have yet to get another one finished, all sporrans in my que will be done before the end of May though.

My bank called me...

Nice young man from bank: "Ma'am, have you been traveling?"
Impatient X Markser: "No, why?"
NYMFB: "There are charges on your VISA card from Scotland."
IXM: "??? Well, yes, there should be."
NYMFB: "We suspect fraud."
IXM: "Well, I just ordered 16 yards of woolen fabric."
NYMFB: "But it's over $xxx.xx!!!" (you can fill in the blank here.....)
IXM: "Well, it would be - most of it is STROME!!!!"

The jones does eventually end (at least temporarily). My jones has been assuaged - my Ferguson Britt sporran and eBay MacLeod of Harris PV kilt arrived last week.

(Just remembered - I have an antique black velvet sporran with sterling silver cantle on the way -oh my, the jones just came back)

I've got the jones really bad for an Isle of Skye, 4 yard box pleat from Matt Newsome. I've been going through stuff trying to see what I could get rid of to raise the funds. Of course, a kilt like that deserves a new sporran....
