Actually, he is blocking Javascript. I've given him a work-around.

For anyone else that may be experiencing this problem -

When you edit a submitted post, the edit takes place via Javascript, to prevent loading separate pages. So when you click on the Edit button, you are taken to a quick editor. Once you make the edit and click on Save, a small progress image appears -

If you find yourself sitting there for 30-40 seconds with nothing happening, click on the Go Advanced button. That will take you to a full editor, where you will be able to save your edits.
