UK eBay as a source

Good advice!

I have purchased many items off of eBay that were shipped from the UK. Two things I would add based on my experiences. 1) Check the shipping price carefully, it may not be worth the overall cost with what the exchange rate is right now.

Ditto, I had one vendor double the price just for shipping. It was his way of getting what he wanted. You can guess I reported it.

2) Insure your package! I have had several items not make it from overseas. Get, or insist on parcel insurance. It is worth the extra money.

Good idea. I've done that. I've ordered many things from the UK and have been very pleased with all but a couple.
