    Welcome Aboard!

If you want to see what all goes into a 'tank' (the real expensive, real deal traditional kilt), get Barb T's book!

AndLockcarron's Leatherneck The real deal. Color is a little bright on my monitor, btw.

Also do a search on McVarmit's Glengarry Leatherneck bonnet. I think it's in the "torries" thread??? (somebody have link handy)?

And there's also been recent discussion on 'USMC' Clan badges. And yep, there's a fair number of my son's "brothers from another mother" around here.

I'm from MI, USA, and my grandma's mom was 100% Scot(Wallace), while my grandpa's mom was 100% Irish(McLaughlin).

Good to be here. Nice to find a place I can ask questions for my upcoming planned trip to Scotland.
I might be able to help you with your questions. I am a travel agent and I am a certified SCOTS Specialist.

If you want to make your own kilt - you need to talk with Alan K. He has instructions written already! Good luck.

From Chicagoland. My great-great Grandfather from Scotland was one of the original settlers of Marshall Mi. just down the road from you. Welcome.
