I'm Done
So today was the last day of highschool ever for me. I am quite sad and I have a bunch of irish/celtic songs running through my head about leaving and what not.
So as a treat for the senior class my school takes that last day and has all the seniors arrive 30 mins late and drive around the school in decorated cars like a parade for the underclassmen. then we walk around the school one last time, have a slideshow and then head out to the football stadium where they have inflated bouncy things and other fun stuff. not to mention 40 feet of submarine sandwhich (40 foot long 4 inches wide and 6 inches tall) 50 pizzas and hundreds of soda.
it was a fun time, I got my one last hooray with my fellow senior class. I don't have to go to school any more. I don't have to take exams. and the underclassmen still have 2 weeks.
now I am known by my entire school as the kid who wears those kilt things. so I couldn't disappoint. for my last day of high school I wore:

I am sure that there will be many others as every girl wanted their picture with me and who refuses a girl who want to put her arm around you?
now, I will say this, my school ordered the inflatable boxing ring with giant boxing gloves; don't wear a kilt unless you want to give everyone a show.
they also give a terrible plastic "rug" burn.
lots of fun though!

It's a big day! I well remember my "Senior Trip" to Disneyland, and graduation, etc. etc. I'm glad you had fun...and now.

Congratulations, Casey! I'm glad you had fun, my friend.
I have never been able to resist a girl who wanted to put her arm around me either!

My last day of high school was in May 1976. The only fun we had was what we could create. So, we stuffed our favorite teacher's whole classroom with wadded-up newspapers. It came up to about waste high. It took us the whole prior evening to get enough newspapers wadded up to do just that much. Anyway, I'm glad you had fun on your last day and in a kilt, too!

Congrats cwr89!
Here's to just as much fun.....
Taken me 24 years out of school, but learned life's what you make it!
Also learned you earn respect. Got the nerve to do your own thing means you're way ahead of the game!

yeah, this year has flown by so fast. its been a good ride.
I do look forward to next year, but its killing me to leave, my group of friends is really through my youth group at church and they are all going to the same college and I am going elsewhere. its only about 3 hours away but still different to think that I am going to not get to talk to and joke with the kids I have been for the last 4 years.
